Kailen's Birthday!!!!!

We celebrated Kailen's 10th birthday on Sunday.

It was a wonderful day. My little one is ten now! Boy does time fly!

Monkey

This week we did lots of things.

One day we decided to play educational games instead of bookwork.

We also had National Pizza Day as part of our journaling.

Ryan did a report on the elements and she chose Oxygen.

She made a trap and caught a crawfish.

After a serious infection, Sugey was well enough to visit the creek again. I'm so glad he is ok.

An unknown flower that Kailen managed to "borrow" from our neighbor.

Daryn worked on her balloon car project for school.

She had a lot of fun making it.

Knitting News!!!!!!!

I finished my "Monkey" socks for Daryn.

The pattern is really pretty.

I really enjoyed knitting them.

Ramdomosity

I had to take a picture of this painting. While the kids were at art class, I got a chance to visit a local art gallery. Very interesting stuff. The smaller version of this piece was $3000.00. I doubt I could afford one this size!
