Blue Ridge Mountains and the Horses

The Blue Ridge Mountains were absolutely beautiful.

~

We had fantastic views.

~

Even at night.
~

After a quick rain.
~
The sun shinning through was beautiful.
~
The cabin was named Sunset View for a reason.
~

It was hard to wait for the full effect.

~

My favorite was the mist.

~

Even at play, we took breaks to watch the sky change.

~

Nature is awesome.
~
I wish we had taken more time to enjoy the scenery.
~
But there were horses to ride!

~

This is an awesome place and I recommend it for even small children.

~

A variety of horses for all kinds of riders.

~

Sugey had his own horse at first...... "Cowboy"

~

Didn't last long though as he was too scared to be on his own. The guide just scooped him up and put him on her own horse. Worked well!

~

Kailen's horse was Tiara.

~

Caramel was mine! Oh, I loved her so....

~

Ryan's horse, Blaze, liked to drink a lot of water.

~

Caramel at the creek.

~

Whoa! Nelly.... This horse was newly trained and didn't listen to orders.

This was quite funny to those not riding her.

~

This is the place where we were in Georgia, yet we could see the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains.

~

We all had a great time on the horses.

Advancements and Promotions

Congratulation to Daryn for passing her CRCT testing which means she will be promoted to 9th grade. It has been a fantastic year for her. (She also won the 8C End of the Year Games.!!)

Kailen was honored by getting his official Boy Scout Patch.

Also this weekend, Daryn has her end of the year dance. This is the second choice dress. Can't wait to post the first choice. How beautiful she is.

And yes, I had a birthday.

I thank my kids, parents and friends for making it the best they could for me despite being sick with Strep Throat. Therefore, not a lot of pictures were taken. But I am grateful for all the gifts.

~

Much love.

And......
