Hiking, Hawks and Halloween

Lately, we have been doing a lot of nature outings.

Cloudland Canyon

One of the most beautiful parks in Georgia.

Family Camping with the Cub Scout Pack

~

Thankfully Kailen was strong enough to save his brother.

~

Of course I had to bring knitting.

I love knitting by the fire.

~

It was quite chilly that night with temperatures in the 30's.

~

The view was spectacular during the day.

~

Amazing!

Brrrrrrrrrrr!!

My new favorite camping food!

Walking Tacos!

I heart camping!

Hiking

It would have been nice to see this sign BEFORE half the hike was over.

~

Etowah Trails

This is one of the nicest trails I have been on. And I am so proud of Kailen and his troop for all the hard work in maintaining and creating this trail.

~

It's a beautiful place to be.

~

I was wearing this hat to ward off the hunters.

Do not kill the deer please.

 ~

We found a lot of blood in some spots and a poor animals entrails.

~

Note to self: Try not to watch movies like "Wrong Turn" before hiking on isolated trail.

~

Hundreds of hawks

~

Sugey found these awesome coyote prints that we preserved.

How to preserve prints.

 I really like moss.

Vicious little snake I'm sure was venomous.

~

Watering hole for the animals.

~

Spooky dead leaves everywhere.

~

An old graveyard to start out the hike.

~

I was hoping to see some zombies.

The Monsters

The Loot

Took the monsters to see Paranormal Activity 3.

I still think the second one was the scariest!

~

On my wheel! Silk and alpaca.

~

Off my wheel

Hot pink spun with fire.

Randomosity

How I wake up the kids in the morning.

~

This is what Ryan does to get my attention at school.

Thankfully they were just bent staples.
