Birthday Part 2

Back to the birth story. Yep, nine years ago I swore to God and everything in between that I would NEVER EVER go through that pain again.

~

Before I knew it, all my promises to myself somehow got left behind.

These are the moments I live for. My two boys together sharing a happy moment, caught in a picture, completely unaware of me and the camera.

~

So yeah, it's all worth it.

Kailen's piece of cake.

Before it was cut.

I tried to get all the kids in the picture, but Ryan was off hiding to the side. I think she just wanted some cake!

Here's my little CSI girl.

Of course there had to be some knitting in here somehow.

This is the log cabin blanket I worked on for a couple months. I decided to crochet the borders because I knew I would never finish it in time for Kailen's birthday. It did a little pulling but it still came out beautiful.

~

He loved it.

Before he went to bed, he came and told me how safe and warm the blanket made him feel. That indeed is one of the best feelings in the world. To give something handmade that you put your heart into, and it gives such joy. I love you with all my heart my little Boogetty Boy.
