Daily Musings

This week, we are all over the place. Come to think of it, I don't think we ever have a set schedule.

~

I got sick this week. Being sick, turns into a reading week. We do a lot of learning through reading.

~

We learned about the Qing Dynasty and the Resurrection of Italy.

~

Kailen learned about Thomas Jefferson. He being the only president that wasn't aware of his own running. He was busy building a house and by the time the elections came, it was too late to do anything about it.

Here's a neat site about him. http://home.att.net/~jrhsc/jeff.html

These are the books the kids are presently reading. Reading time is very important in our house. Although they do have certain grade level books they read, they can also pick their own. Here are their picks of the week.

Last week, Ryan wrote a letter to one of her favorite candy companies. She received a package in the mail with two different types of candy that aren't even on the shelves yet.

Very proud of her.
